Zhukovsky’s passenger traffic soars above 100,000 ppl in June
MOSCOW, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- The passenger traffic of Moscow Region’s Zhukovsky airport soared almost five times on the year to more than 100,000 people in June, the airport said in a statement on Thursday.
In January–June, the airport serviced 472,877 passengers, more than it serviced for the entire 2017.
Tomas Vaisvila, CEO of the airport’s operator Ramport Aero, said that the increase was caused mostly by the expansion of the airport’s route network and a better quantity of flights on regular destinations.
